Our students are not only expected to increase their knowledge in theories of finance and accounting, but also to deepen their understanding of the inner workings of stock markets, currencies, commodities, bonds, and futures markets in the real world in this educational/research laboratory.

In addition, most of our accounting and finance courses focus on the practical application of knowledge and skills. Department staff sees the necessity of improving and introducing modern teaching techniques that provide opportunities for students to follow the latest developments in the worldwide capital market. Therefore, the finance lab helps in achieving the following objectives: (a) Allowing students to observe life data, which helps them stay current on happenings in global markets; (b) Educating students about security finance and the financial services industry; (c) Providing students with a realistic experience in analyzing stocks, commodities, options, currencies, bond markets, and futures markets; (d) Displaying rigorous portfolio management opportunities by composing their own portfolios using the real market experience in our virtual environment.

As a result, the finance lab helps students become competitive and contributes to their employability in both the national and international job markets. Upon graduation, the students are able to confidently invest in the securities market and manage their funds carefully.
