What is Business Administration?
The Business Administration Program educates students to become successful individuals who can contribute to the development of the country and adapt to a competitive environment. The program cultivates an analytical and observer frame of mind, equipping students with the required professional knowledge and skills, including strong communication abilities. It makes a major contribution to the business world by raising individuals with the qualities to shape their future by understanding the general process mechanisms of businesses. Students choose this program to be equipped with necessary knowledge in economy, society, and technology to start their professional lives one step ahead.
Accreditations
The program’s international quality assurance standards have been evaluated and accredited by the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) until 2027. Educational activities continue in line with FIBAA standards, with an up-to-date and valid accreditation certificate.
Business Administration Undergraduate Program
The 4-year Business Administration Undergraduate Program, delivered in English, prepares students for dynamic careers in the global business environment. The curriculum is continuously updated to reflect the effects of economic, social, and technological developments on businesses. Students learn about micro and macroeconomics, behavioral sciences, and core business processes such as production, marketing, finance, human resources, accounting, R&D, and public relations. Besides theoretical knowledge, the program includes talks by successful managers and company visits. Students can also take elective language courses in German, French, Italian, or Russian to gain a preference in the global competition.
The curriculum provides a transdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, and interdisciplinary education. This allows graduates to adapt to digital age industries and work across several fundamental disciplines such as marketing, banking, finance, accounting, operational/production management, and management and organization at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels.
Business Administration Curriculum
The program provides a comprehensive education covering all core business disciplines.
Basic Courses: Introduction to Business, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics form the foundational knowledge.
Functional Area Courses: In-depth study of production, marketing, finance, human resources, accounting, R&D, and public relations processes and their strategic applications.
Practical Experience
In addition to theoretical knowledge, the program helps students assimilate topics by providing examples from daily events. This is reinforced through organized talks by successful managers and business entrepreneurs, as well as company visits.
With continuously updated course content and international accreditation, graduates start their professional lives as competent individuals who understand modern business concepts and can think strategically. This knowledge increases their opportunities in marketing, banking, finance, accounting, and management fields. Graduates are also well-prepared to continue their education by pursuing Master’s and Doctorate degrees, potentially joining the academic staff.
